Version Alpha R4 Release Notes


Hi all, today this plugin was updated to version Alpha R4!

This version adds some more customization for typically hard-coded actor values. You can now set their maximum TP, which is normally set to 100 with no option to change this maximum. You can also set their initial TP range (if not set to preserve TP) which normally is between 0 and 25 with no option to change this number. These should allow you to make some more interesting TP mechanics in your game, for example an actor that starts battle with 200 TP but which doesn't regen TP during battle so they are at risk of running out.

This update also adds a customizable guard skill id, so you can make each actor have different skills that get used when they guard. A similar option was added for death state id, if you want different actors to be able to have different death states rather than the hard coded state id 1.

Hi all, I hope you like the update 😁!

This should allow you to make more unique actors when it comes to combat mechanics. Your tank actor might have a guard skill that also taunts enemies, for example. Or you might have a strong attacker with a lot of TP but who needs to manage it carefully due to lower TP charge rates. I am sure you can come up with a lot of ideas too!
