Version 1.6.0 Release Notes


Hi all, today this plugin was updated to version 1.6.0!

This update adds the option to display floating exp text on the player when gaining experience on the map scene. This floating text supports text codes and you can also determine how much height it gets and how long it stays visible for. Below is a gif for how it can look:


This gif also displays some other new features, mostly that you can now play a balloon icon and animation on level up if you wish.

This update also added some common features that are present in most of my plugins. The windows in the profession scene can have their back opacity, windowskin, tone, and padding adjusted. You can choose to draw header dividing lines or not. All text should now support text codes without the need of additional plugins such as [CGMZ] Text Codes Everywhere.

Important: some integrations were added, which has changed some parameters. The background image parameter has been converted from an image parameter to an id from [CGMZ] Scene Backgrounds. [CGMZ] Scene Backgrounds provides much more customization for background images than my individual plugins can, including scrolling backgrounds. The profession color parameter was changed from an HTML color string to a text code color. You can still use custom colors by creating your custom colors in [CGMZ] Infinite Colors and then setting the text code number to your custom color number id from that plugin.

An integration with [CGMZ] Controls Window was also added so you can easily tell the player what controls (keyboard or gamepad) exist for the profession scene. Lastly, the order with [CGMZ] Toast Manager should no longer be important in the Plugin Manager.

Hey, there! I downloaded the updated version (1.6.0) and ever since then my game has had a weird glitch where it shows the tag [NAN] once I try to call the professions scene. It appears on Toasts and on item popup names as well.

Hi, you need to re-do your color parameters for your professions, they were converted to text code (number) instead of the direct HTML color code. You can still use any custom colors by adding them to [CGMZ] Infinite Colors as the release notes explain.
