[CGMZ][Alpha] Map Upgrade for RPG Maker MZ

Hi all, introducing [CGMZ] Map Upgrade!

This plugin allows you to add more data to your maps, from including things like an icon, a recommended level, etc. You can use this new data in events by using the plugin commands to get the data into a game variable. Other plugins can also easily use this data, which may be required for some features in other [CGMZ] plugins.

New Data

A list of new data added to maps with this plugin is:

• Name
• Icon
• Recommended Level
• Safety Rating
• Danger Rating
• Common Event
• Image(s)

You can access most of this via the plugin command, either for the current map or for any map id. The name and images can only be accessed via script as they are strings instead of numbers.

On its own, this data does not do much. However, this will be used in the future to integrate with other [CGMZ] plugins that could use additional map data which can avoid more difficult and error prone notetags since this data is set up using the parameter system.

Mechanics

This plugin does allow you to automatically run a common event whenever the map loads. This can be useful to help set things up on the map without needing to use an auto-erasing parallel process event or in other ways. I am sure you will find many uses for running a common event when the map loads.

Future

I have plans to expand this to include more data as needed in [CGMZ] plugins or by user request. I also plan to provide more options for when the common event runs on map load, and anything else that could affect the map. Please let me know in the comments below any suggestions you may have for improvements to this plugin as well.
