Version Alpha R3 Release Notes


Hi all, today this plugin was updated to version Alpha R3!

This version adds the ability to show the scene with only a single category, where it will start with the picture select flow and canceling out to where the category window would have been shown will instead exit the scene. This should allow you to event different picture galleries if you want to show certain pictures in certain areas of the game.

This version also added some control over how category images are drawn. By default, normal mode would center the image if not as wide as the area and shrink it if it was too large. There are now two new options: Fit and Portion. Fit will always stretch or shrink the image so it fits the area exactly. Portion is instead meant for large images that you want to cut out a portion of. You provide an additional X and Y value of where to start cutting the image and then a slice of the source image that fits the draw area will appear as the category image.

Some integrations were also added. The scene background image parameter has been converted to a [CGMZ] Scene Backgrounds integration, and this update also added a [CGMZ] Controls Window integration.

i was hoping for a demo but most your plugings so far are pretty good, i'll buy this one as soon as i can

Hi, I am glad you like my plugins 😁!

I would like to make demos for all of them, it is just something that I do not have the time for as I am only one person supporting 100+ plugins. Demos for paid plugins also have extra work that goes into it because I need to figure out what I can cut out for the demo version and do additional testing on the demo version. I tend to make demos for my plugins once they are fully released, just don't have the capacity to do it for every plugin.

I do have a wiki (started at the end of march, so still a bit of a work in progress) where you can see all of the plugin commands + parameters that each of my plugins have to get a better idea of how customizable something is or what you can do with it before buying.

i understand man , your plugins are really good and easy to use, already figured how to fix some personal issues due to other plugings , im a bit confused about the control window thing thou, i can't seem to figure out what it is or where to find i.

It is an integration with [CGMZ] Controls Window, which is a plugin that can add a window to any scene that shows the player what keyboard/gamepad controls do what in the scene depending on the player's last input type.

If you want to set one up you just create a preset in that plugin and then type the preset id in to my plugins that integrate with it. Otherwise you need to tell it the scene constructor which isn't always easy for people to find if they don't know how to read JS code.
