[CGMZ] Picture Gallery for RPG Maker MZ

Hi all, introducing [CGMZ] Picture Gallery!

Picture Gallery

This plugin creates a picture gallery scene for your game. You can have different categories of pictures, and the player can unlock pictures as they continue playing your game. Before being unlocked, the player will see undiscovered text for that picture. After being unlocked, you can show different text for that picture. You can also have completely hidden pictures which do not appear in the picture gallery scene at all.

Unlocked pictures can also be viewed as a full size image (currently drawn as an image in a window), and you can include text as well in case you want to add some kind of watermark to the full picture scene.

Categories

You can call the scene with only a specific category of picture, allowing you to event different galleries throughout your game for different topics if you want. You can also call the scene with all categories included to provide everything in one convenient location, whichever is more suitable for your game.

Download

You can set up the option to allow your player to download pictures through the picture gallery. This should work on any deployment target, including web deploys. Keep in mind that web deploys cannot download files to the player's computer for security reasons, so instead it can only prompt them to download and save it as a file.

Completion

This plugin keeps track of your overall completion of the picture gallery as well as completion of each category. This plugin currently integrates with [CGMZ] Toast Manager to show a toast window when a picture is unlocked, though there are future integrations planned such as [CGMZ] Achievements for unlocking a certain percentage of the picture gallery or a category.

Main Menu Integration

You can easily add this plugin's scene to the main menu using [CGMZ] Menu Command Window. To do so, place the JS code to call the scene from the plugin help section into the menu JS command.

Roadmap

As this plugin is still in the Alpha stage, it is not yet feature complete. There are some planned features to be added in future updates, including:

1. More viewing options for the full size image / full size window
2. Option to call a common event to replay a scene
