[CGMZ] Window Cursor for RPG Maker MZ

Hi all, introducing [CGMZ] Window Cursor!

This plugin adds a cursor to your selection windows, which is different from the standard blinking option the game comes with by default. See below gif for how it can look:

Customization Options

The window cursor can be either a static image or a spritesheet animation. Regardless of the image used, all cursors also come with customization options including:

• Hue
• Rotation
• Float
• Alignment,
• X/Y offsets
• Blend mode
• Scale

In addition to the above static properties, the following can be animated, such as if you want a slight horizontal float as seen in the above gif:

• Float
• Hue
• Rotation

If your cursor is a spritesheet animation file, you can additionally choose how many frames to wait before updating to the next animation frame. You can set a low time to create a smooth effect, as seen in the gif above, or you can set a higher time with only a few frames to make the effect more like a blinking cursor effect.

Roadmap

I plan to expand this plugin by adding more control over windows that do not use a window cursor, as not all scenes might fit with a custom cursor showing. I also plan to add more customization options, such as opacity fluctuations and more. Finally, this plugin will allow you to swap cursors during the game, or even use different cursors in different windows in a future update. I would love to hear feedback on which type of feature you are looking forward to most so I know what to prioritize working on ❤️
